Ridge Off Roader 10km & 6.5km - Sunday 27th April 2014
Dear Bracknell Forest Runners,
We would like to invite your runners to our second Ridge Off
Roader 10km & 6.5km off road run at 10am on Sunday 27th April 2014.
It is a friendly and fairly small event (we had c.300
runners last year) and is organized by a group of local parents to raise money
for Bledlow Ridge village school (a registered charity). We have a challenging
but beautiful route which takes runners along the footpaths, bridleways and
lanes of the Chiltern Hills, starting and finishing at the village school.
This year we have added a 6.5km run for those that fancy a
slightly shorter and gentler distance. For those that have children that need
entertaining while they are running, we have 2 fun runs of 1km and 2km, both in
the school grounds.
The Race HQ will have plenty to entertain runners,
spectators and supporters alike with massages before, during and after the
race, a free range bbq serving hot dogs and bacon butties, fresh real coffee,
tea and homemade cakes as well as a bouncy castle and face-painting to keep any
children busy.
