Beachy Head |
Notes:
1) Although this group is intended for everyone who expects to complete the Beachy Head Marathon in over 5 hours, we will train for a target time of 5 hours 30 minutes approximately. Pace will be approx. 10 mins/mile for shorter runs and 11 mins/mile for longer runs.
2) All runs will commence at 9.30 a.m. unless otherwise stated. This is subject to negotiation.
3) All runs will be off-road and will incorporate hills, but the longer runs less of them.
4) This schedule will, of course, be supplemented by the usual club training of Monday runs and Wednesday Track sessions.
5) There is no need to let me know if you intend to run any, or all, of the above; just turn up on time! Remember to bring a drink and suitable gear if the weather is wet and/or windy.
